It’s not surprising then that one of our first responses to any problems in our lives is to diet. We let ourselves believe that this time this diet will work and we’ll finally be happy with ourselves. After all thin people are happy people aren’t they? But when we lose the weight we quickly realise our lives are still the same as they were before, it’s just that we’re now a bit thinner, so we turn back to the food for comfort, the weight goes back on and suddenly we’re back where we started only a few pounds heavier and a lot more desperate. So how do we get off the dieting roller coaster and start getting on with our lives?
It’s simple, stop worrying about what your putting into your mouth and start changing the thoughts your putting into your head. Your body is only a reflection of what’s going in in your mind and you can get the body you want by changing how you think about yourself.
